1. Acceptance & Scope
By accessing or using the Moto Junkyard website, mobile interface, or API services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Moto Junkyard operates as a public directory platform that connects consumers, mechanics, and auto rebuilders with auto salvage yards, boneyards, auto dismantlers, and used OEM parts suppliers across North America.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Disclaimer & Verification
⚠️ Important: All directory data, including business names, addresses, phone numbers, operating hours, service types, and pricing estimates, is provided for informational purposes only.
While Moto Junkyard makes reasonable efforts to verify listings against public municipal records and business filings, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listed information. Users must independently verify parts availability, pricing, return policies, and business credentials directly with the salvage yard or parts supplier before completing any transaction.
Moto Junkyard does not endorse, recommend, or certify any specific salvage yard, dismantler, or used parts dealer listed on the Platform. The presence of a business in our directory does not constitute an endorsement of its products, services, safety practices, or business ethics.
3. User Accounts & Conduct
A. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@motojunkyard.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
B. Saved Garage Data
The "My Garage" feature allows registered users to save and organize favorite salvage yard listings. This data is stored securely and associated with your authenticated session. You may delete saved listings or your account at any time.
C. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following:
- Automated scraping, crawling, or bulk data extraction from the Platform without express written consent.
- Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent business listings, reviews, or contact information.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Platform infrastructure, databases, or other user accounts.
- Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable federal, state, or local laws.
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing yard operators, Platform staff, or other users through contact forms or direct communications.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Moto Junkyard, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Business transactions conducted between users and listed salvage yards or parts suppliers.
- Inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in directory listing data, including outdated pricing, operating hours, or contact information.
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits related to your use of or inability to access the Platform.
- Personal injury or property damage resulting from visits to listed salvage facilities.
The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
